What types of wood do you use to make your products?
We exclusively use hardwoods in all of our products. Our cutting boards for example are constructed using primarily Maple, Which the National sanitization foundation recommends for wood cutting boards, and American Walnut which is revered among woodworkers for its beauty.
How do I clean my cutting board?
After use, wash with a sponge and warm soapy water, then dry with a towel. We DO NOT recommend placing your board in the dishwasher. If you notice your board getting dry, rub on some Board Butter.
Is this board really made to be used? it's almost too pretty to use.
We hear this every day, but we would be upset if you didn't use your board. We build them to be used and thats what we expect.
How do I maintain my cutting board.
Included with your cutting board is 2 ounces of our Board Butter. We recommend that you wipe some onto your clean board when it starts to look too dry, then wipe it off with a clean cloth. Just like Mr. Miyagi said, "Wax on, Wax off!" If you run low, you can order more Board Butter from our online store.
